Hello There! My name is
DANIELLE SINGH
I'm a chef and a health-and-wellness advocate from Tampa, Florida.
I created this page to serve middle-aged women who think it’s too late for them to get into the health and fitness game.
Let me tell you, it’s never too late to feel like twenty again!
Take it from yours truly, "The Fit Gourmet".
In the past 2 decades, I scoured books, journals, and worked with Doctors to truly understand health and fitness and applied it to no other than my own self.
To pay it forward, I've written about health & fitness and contributed to 100s of blog sites in the fitness industry, and occasionally shared my recipes.
Over time, I've come to understand how to hack the female body in order to get lean, regain mental clarity, maintain focus, and feel spiritually centered.
It wasn't always like this...
During my mid-thirties, I gained a lot of weight and thought it was "normal" and part of the "changes" forty-somethings have to deal with. That my youthful female body was gone, and the badass-ripped-Danielle is just a fun memory.
Getting into my forties was definitely a struggle....
I started experiencing memory loss... I developed an auto-immune disease.
It was awfully painful going through it, but like my weight gain, I thought it was all "part of being a woman".
Until I decided to take my life and health on my own terms...
I went to work in the kitchen, creating healthy recipes, got into a regular workout routine and ended up winning a Hall of Fame title in the Tri-Fitness Challenge at 50, yes fifty years of age (that's in 2017).
Not only that, I completely got rid of memory fog, regained mental clarity, and my mind works like a typical 30 year-old.
Now, I'm on a mission to help middle aged women experience the same transformation and begin to write a different "middle-aged" story where you are in control and you can move like you're in your twenties!
